For the 100 or so years that the original Brampton Brewery were operational, the whole area around Brampton was synonymous with 2 industries in addition to brewing, namely brick making and pottery. The logo of the strong arm and brick hammer pays homage to this.
Wasp Nest was one of the larger brick making factories that existed in Brampton, and the great-grandfather of our very own Dave Hattersley was a Director of Wasp Nest. |
