Terms & Conditions

How we deal with your order

All orders are processed by Paypal. When you order using our online shopping cart a total will be calculated and passed to Paypal’s secure servers to be processed. Paypal will encrypt all subsequent customer information using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits.

Once your information reaches the PayPal site, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically.

All checkout totals are inclusive of all taxes.

At no point will a member of staff see your bank account numbers or credit card numbers. We only see your email address and order details when we login to our PayPal Business Account. We do not retain any information regarding the order and subsequent transaction on our servers. The checkout total is calculated and retained using temporary session variables. The session variable only records the name of the products and the running total costs.

A full account of PayPal’s own privacy and security policies can be viewed at the links below:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy

If you are not at home when the consignment arrives our couriers will leave a card with details about either a) arranging a redelivery or b) collecting from their depot.

Order Confirmation of Payment & Approval

As soon as PayPal accepts your payment you will be emailed a payment acknowledgement slip with an option to print. This electronic receipt is generated automatically and sent to both the buyer and Brampton Brewery. The payment acknowledgment slip will include our company name, a support phone number, and company e-mail address.

Our approval of your order occurs at the point of purchase. In addition, we will inform customers by phone or via email when the goods have been dispatched.

We may refuse to accept an order:

  • Where goods are not available.
  • Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment.
  • If you do not provide sufficient identification required when ordering certain items.
  • If there has been a pricing or product description error; or
  • If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

In exceptional circumstances you may wish to return the goods you have ordered. As soon as the order has been received, customers will have 14 days to return the goods and obtain a full refund or negotiate an exchange.

Delivery Policy

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there will be somebody at home and available to sign for the package when it arrives.

We endeavour to deliver goods to anywhere on the UK mainland within 2-3 working days.

We regret that we cannot deliver goods to anywhere outside the UK mainland.

All orders received by us are shipped subject to availability.

From time to time it may be that the product you have ordered has gone temporarily out of stock. In this situation you will be contacted and offered either a full refund or an alternative product. The product list is updated daily, so such instances will be rare. We do not expect our customers to endure long delays.

Brampton Brewery Ltd cannot be held responsible for any disruption to shipping caused by industrial disputes or action outside our control. If such action occurs the customer will be offered delivery via an alternative method.

Cancellation Policy

We have no problem with customers wishing to cancel an order prior to dispatch. To tell us you wish to cancel your order please email to sales@bramptonbrewery.co.uk as soon as possible.

If your consignment has already been dispatched, goods can be returned to Brampton Brewery in accordance with the terms and conditions described below.

Terms and Conditions

All Sales are subject to the following trading terms - these terms and conditions do not affect the consumer’s statutory rights:

Delivery prices are quoted for UK Mainland only.

Larger orders may require extra delivery charges. We will provide information within 48 hours of your order being placed.

We endeavour to deliver your consignment within 2-3 days of payment being received.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase alcohol. Proof of age may be requested upon delivery.

We reserve the right to reject any order where we feel the customer is not of the correct age to buy alcohol. In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged on arrival please contact one of our team on 01246 221680 or sales@bramptonbrewery.co.uk and we will arrange a full refund or replacement.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order within seven days starting from the day after you take delivery of the goods (a cooling off period). You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty. If you wish to cancel, please write to us stating your full details and invoice number (or your PayPal acknowledgement number) within seven working days of receiving your consignment. Once you have cancelled, you have a legal “duty of care” to ensure the goods are not damaged and that they are returned, at your expense, to Brampton Brewery.

Brampton Brewery will refund you the full amount paid for the goods, less any cost incurred to collect them, within 30 days of receipt of the notice of cancellation and successful return of the goods.

Privacy Policy

Brampton Brewery will not exploit your email address, telephone or shipping address for direct marketing purposes without your prior consent. We will also ensure that no data collected during the transaction and delivery process is distributed amongst third-party agencies.

Customers, by providing their shipping details, give Brampton Brewery the right to store their personal information to the extent necessary to process orders and arrange delivery.

Because all the entire transaction process takes place on PayPal’s own securely encrypted servers, we have neither access to nor the ability to store card/account information.

All information is handled fully in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
